Institution’s Innovation Council

Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Baselius College, Kottayam was established in the academic year 2021–22 as per the norms of the Innovation Cell, Ministry of Education, Government of India. The council aims to systematically foster a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship and creative problem-solving among students and faculty members. IIC at Baselius College serves as a platform to promote innovative ideas, support start-up initiatives and encourage research-driven solutions to societal challenges. Through workshops, seminars, competitions and mentorship programmes, the council actively nurtures the entrepreneurial mindset of students. It also facilitates collaboration with industry experts, innovators, and entrepreneurs to strengthen practical learning and innovation capacity. By promoting creativity and innovation, the IIC contributes significantly to building a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem within the college.
