NAAC Accreditation Institutional Level Committee (4th Cycle)
NAAC Assessment and Accreditation
The NAAC assessment and accreditation are terms broadly used for understanding the “Quality Status” of an institution. The NAAC’s accreditation process follows a holistic, systematic, and objective approach for institutional improvement. Moreover, the assessment process provides an opportunity for the institution to measure its effectiveness and efficiency, identify its strengths and weaknesses, and take necessary steps for improvement.
Baselius has successfully completed three cycles of accreditation and after the last accreditation process, we were placed at a CGPA of 3.11. The 4th Cycle Accreditation process is going on in full swing. The peer team visit and accreditation, which was slightly delayed on account of the pandemic, is likely to be completed in the academic year 2022–23.
Steering Committee (4th Cycle)
A Steering Committee is formed to coordinate and supervise the compilation and analysis of data in connection with NAAC Accreditation. This committee is responsible for organizing the information and data, and preparing a comprehensive Self Study Report (SSR). During the onsite visit of the peer team, the convener of the steering committee may also function as an institutional facilitator.

Criterion Committee
NAAC has identified seven criteria that reflect the processes and values of the Higher Education Institution (HEI) on which the assessment is made. The questions under each of the key aspects focus in particular on the outcomes, the institutional provisions which contribute to these, and their impact on student learning and development. The seven criteria have been allocated to various conveners who have a team of teachers to work on them on a continual basis.
